During the McGriddles portion of the episode, the platform they put the food on is COVERED in dust. As they put the McGriddles down you can see they pick up portions of that dust and is then placed into the mouths of Rhett and Link.

However each one individually is a "Mcgriddle" and any sandwich made using them is by extension a "Mcgriddle Sandwhich".
