i really like how he actually talks about these things and is so transparent about the effects of plastic surgery. i think a lot of surgeons pretend they don’t exist but he actually acknowledges these problems and risks

I have a friend who had those gummy bear implants. She just had them removed in January 2021. She now suffers from a rare type of immune disease, copd, lesions on her lungs & severe arthritis in her joints. Her doctors have concluded that all of these ailments are from leakage of those implants. Praying for her and others who have been affected by these implants.

I work in plastic surgery research this is true. I have seen 2 patients out of the 28 in our study of implant removals end up getting ALCL (mostly from textured implants). They say it’s a “rare” side effect but 2 out of 28 recruited so far doesn’t seem rare, it’s seems terrifying.

Honestly, even though I’m not well endowed, I would never have breast implants. You have to have them replaced every 10 years, more or less. Why undergo anesthesia when you don’t have to? That’s just my own personal feelings on the matter.

My mom got it taken out a because of the recall letter, but even before that she was developing some abnormal scar tissue on one side that was bothering her. I felt so bad for her.

Hey, these things cause cancer, but we aren't going to suggest you get them removed, because we don't want to put undo strain on the company.
