How dare she present herself as a Muslim woman and speak for us!! I am a MUSLIM WOMAN and refute her statements

She's presenting herself as a muslim for a reason she wants to create divisions inside ummah Beawar of such people who dress like us but are not actually one of us!!!!

They seem to be worried about equality while simultaneously ignoring that equity exist, which what Islam mainly deals with

This is the only new method that the enemies of Islam can penetrate into our religion and create diversion. A true Muslim will never eve utter such statements.

That's why she defended 🇵🇸 to bring Trojan horse into the ummah

It’s a shame people defend her because she helped the Palestinians a lot. Yes, she helped them - but she utters evil statements, degraded our religion and pursues a progressive agenda to reform Islam. No amount of help she does for the Palestinians outweighs these things. And whoever says otherwise has not understood the correct Aqeedah of Islam

There is another video on youtube about her understanding of Islam and her reversion. It was an interview. I believe the interview was less than 5 years ago. Good for muslims to study and reflect on it. We are witness of this world. And Prophet Muhammad s.a.w will be a witness unto us.

I don't understand how a someone can make a statement like that, against Quranic verses and Hadiths, and still claim to be a Muslim.... It's contradictory

She has a point. I don't think it's feministic to request basic Islamic rights as a women. Culture is a problem - I see Arab men wearing shorts and T-Shirts in shopping malls whilst their wife/wives wear full blackouts Niqaab. In the IndoPak community, women are treated like second class citizens by the fact that men stay at home with their parents and their mother-in-laws treat them like slaves. For us to fix the issue, we need to isolate and fix the problem, not act so defensive and brush it under the rug without any empathy or sincerity towards fixing a real issue.

I think I remember the lecture from the time. It was more about how the interpretation of religious texts have been by men, so their biases can come into play and hence why you can get "misogynistic" readings

We need to look into our dawah... I have seen plenty of dawah material (pamphlets etc) that seems to be tailored to attracting feminists to our deen. For example, describing Khadeejah(RA) as a woman business leader etc, without clarifying what actually was like.

If you don't understand something, ask the person who has knowledge in that field or stay silent, it better.
