Just listening to it now. Disappointed at the start with Insomnia, fantastic track to start with but then mixed in with much slower softer tune, really wanted it to go up tempo for an instant lift. Then the tunes were pretty girly ( sorry for the analogy). Lots of great tunes later, some sampled from possibly better early tunes.
Not much lift in the tempo till the end. Robert Miles tunes were nice even when mixed.
The thing I find quite lovely is that some artists were allowed to sample really fantastic tunes to improve their own possibly inferior melodies.
Overall, quite liked it maybe I became too hard-core in the 90's, not over enthused by lots of lyrics and slower beat.
The drugs don't work till the energy flows fast, flow up and down and up again. Heard so many DJ's going all Pete Tong and fowling it all up. We like it hard in North Wales.
