This guy would have been a huge star had it not been the 1980s even bigger than Michael Jackson i think. His voice is really commanding. I love the tempo of this song and i don't think he was super theatrical ( unlike Michael Jackson and Prince). No grabbing his crotch, or using sexual gestures. Between Prince, Michael Jackson i would give Terence Trent D'Arby ( i know he changed his name), the upper hand.
