Thanks for the video.
There are several commands and files related to that. Please tell us more about this. Also, what is the sequence the server uses to find the host name?

Jay, Thanks for the video. Perhaps you can answer a question that has nagged me for years: Why should we care what linux hostname a machine has? I understand the it is rendered in some command lines, etc, but is there some functional (not ux) implications to having an inappropriate host name

We had a problem in an installation that we did by mistake upgrade for a server that already has been upgraded because they all have the same name.
