Beginner rider here!

I started watching you a few months ago, before I got my first bike. Im constantly implementing the SMART rider concepts, and sometimes even hear your voice repeating things like, "side of the vehicle" and "orange stage".

You've given me a solid foundation to work with and I am very grateful for all you do. Because of your teachings, I have been able to thoroughly enjoy riding whereas I think I would have been pretty scared riding without having seen your content.

I started riding in December 2020 and leading up to getting my licence, and thereafter, I watched your videos religiously. First, congratulations on deciding to switch gears and focus on the training side of things.

When I first started my journey of learning to ride you were one of the sources I turned to. You have helped me not only become a responsible rider but you have helped me in my personal life. I realized my own mental health was similar to yours and that I needed to reach out because I was becoming self destructive.

You have helped save my marriage. My wife watched your videos and began learning to ride too. You helped inspire my wife to want to work in EMS. In November she graduated from EMT school and got her NREMT rating. She is currently in Paramedic school scheduled to graduate next spring.

Dan. I know you aren't going away. I just wanted you to know how you've already inspired and helped us. Thank you. I'm looking forward to seeing the success of MTC and who knows, maybe one day I'll work as one of your instructors.

@DanDanTheFireman Dan the Fireman, watching your vids for years and when I was forced to take a California beginner course run by the CHP, to get my CA Motorcycle License. The teacher pulled me aside when you get the pass and fail. Looked me in the eyes and asked, "Are you a plant?" I laughed and told him "No, I just watched a lot of DanDanTheFireman videos." He was confused. I never realized you only had like 5k subscribers. You are a great teacher. Never stop!

Despite having ten years of riding behind me when I discovered the channel over three years ago, buying into and adopting the SMART and PLAN principles had a noticeable positive impact on my riding and I will always be grateful for Dan making me a safer and less stressed rider.

Just got my licence and was out on the road on two wheels for the first time today after watching this channel for a good month or more.

Im thankful for this channel burning side of the vehicle and many other patterns into my brain cause I had a car enter a roundabout as I was going through it and I spotted it from a proverbial mile off, then not 100 meters down the road I had a vehicle turn right infront of the car infront of me as my lane was slowly coming up to a red light, causing them to suddenly brake, also spotted it from a mile off and was able to keep myself safe. I appreciate what you're doing man, goodluck and all the best.

Change is hard, but also can be good. I will very much miss the DDFM channel and your personality, but I'm exited for you and your future endeavour.
