Salomon Wildcross 2022 (vs Whippet Canicross!)

In this film I take an in-depth look at the new Salomon Wildcross shoe and compare it to my previous favourites (Brooks Cascadia normal and GTX versions). I also compare it to the off-road abilities of my dog Luca the Whippet!

I have been running in Brooks shoes for many years but have been tempted to switch to the mud-orientated Wildcross, which offers a wider fit than Salomons of previous seasons and better performance in mud.

I compare the features of the Salomon and Brooks shoes in detail, who it might suit and where it excels. I also talk about how to get a good fit with the Salomon shoe and how it compares to the Brooks range.

I also look at how the Brooks shoes have been wearing after a season of use and you might be surprised by my real life long-term test.

Are the Salomon Wildcross shoes the best winter trail running shoes in 2022? I reckon they could be and talk about the features and suitability that make it strong choice.
