In this video I discuss three of my favorite heat-tolerant perennials. These are flowers that will bloom all summer long and surprise you with their durability.

Hi!
My name is Justin Lane and I have my managed my family's business (S&K Greenhouse) for the last 10 years! It is a local garden center that my mom and dad started around 25 years ago.

We have a strong desire to discuss and teach gardening to the online community and welcome anyone who wants to learn. Though we have been involved in the plant world for decades we have found that there is always something to learn when it comes to gardening.

Whether you are a master gardener or just starting out this channel is for you. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our videos!

Hello, good video. I do have that type of hibiscus in red. I am in zone 9b, central Florida. The second one you mention I have it too and boy if you have to be careful with it. Those rhizomes they do procreate fast. Love the one you order.

Thank you for the info about Rose Mallow. Grew from seed this year and now I know more about growing them. 😊

Hello! Hibiscus grow in Québec zone 5 ! Echinacea is a native north american plant. They grow in the middle of Canada, in the plains.

Just subscribed yesterday :) The Bees love my Cone Flowers, all different and colors. My daughter just bought me a Pink Chiffon Rose of Sharon Hibiscus, it is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing :)

Love your videos! I learn so much. My canna leaves are turning brown. They’re in morning sun.

I put my hibiscus in a small kids pool - they love the consistent water and thrive.

Well Justin you didn’t cover my problem plant I’m dealing with. Impatients! They have been planted a couple months now but not flowering. Beautiful flowers when I first planted but now just pretty foliage. Outdoors, get direct and indirect sun during the day. Mostly shade in the evening. Depending on you Justin.

Cone Flowers can be used for medicinal home remedies in soaps, vinegars, lotions and oils.

Can you do a video on shrubs that are heat tolerant. I’m in Utah it gets really cold here and we are still not done with the snow. I’m so over it lol thank you!

Hibiscus/Rose Mallow- How do you know if its the older or newer version? Sam's Club had these last year, but I'm in OH in Zone 6a. Wasn't sure if it was good in the area & no idea how to care for them. Can only plant in full sun - is this doable? Thank you for answer.

Thank you!! Do the deer eat your hibiscus and lilies? I do have coneflower in my driveway and they seem to leave that alone. My best perennial flower is good old Lantana.

Any suggestions for keeping the deer from eating my perennials? My "deer resistant " flowers have all been eaten
