I wish they would make the trophy in a different shape every year so the winners could stack it up like in the game. Just random 2 am thoughts..

Joseph's composure under incredible pressure is so admirable. And I love that he wears his heart on his sleeve. What a brilliant final. -John

This doesn’t even feel like a tournament finals. It feels like two lads having a friendly laid back game of Tetris. Except they’re the best in the world.

the reason why Joseph was a bit emotional starting the match, is because Alexey (Master Creator) gave a very moving speach before the match started (I don't know why they edited it out in the streaming), he thanked Joseph, Koryan and all other competitors. And wished for someday this tournament being big enough that crowds will watch it projected on buildings.
...
ps. thanks Trey ... ALL HAIL TREY !!!

37:00 Sportsmanship defined. Koryan sees that it is over, that he is losing, and — on completion — immediately applauds, cheers for the winner, and stands up to hug and congratulate him. That(!) is how you lose with grace and dignity.

From the commenters, to the host, the crowd and the competitors, this shit is the most engaging event I’ve ever seen

Holy cow, what a difference a year makes. Went from super serious, nervous, and crying when he wins, to joking, laughing and smiling when he wins. Love it.

Koryan - the greatest player without CTWC title. Since he appeared, every year when he competed was going to be "Koryan year" but damn the guy is unlucky.
