Without Love, We Are Nothing

Behavior alone doesn’t tell us whether we have peace with God. We can do and say all the right things, but if we have not love, we are nothing.

It's nice to say God wants our heart. I would like to hear someone talk about the journey toward knowing god as John 17:3 indicates we are to know him intimately if we want salvation because the words, eternal life, actually mean salvation. So the bottom line is without knowing god intimately as in a marriage knowing, you're not going to grow in love for him. To know him is to love him. There was a song about that a very carnal song but applied spiritually it's true. But the path to know him is always down down to the self down to the self will self love self-desires. This is the part that's missing and this doesn't happen overnight you can't just say you love God. Jesus didn't tell us he just loved us he demonstrated it in many ways not just the cross which was the ultimate expression. Jesus demonstrated his love for us every day by being spat on every day rejected every day accused everyday being treated ill attempting to kill him. He absorbed all the evil and hurts that men tried to do to him. How many of us does really absorb the insults that come our way? How many of us absorb the ill treatment the unfairness? How do we really demonstrate our love for him? How far are you willing to go to demonstrate that you have attained a love for him that is above Faith and Hope and all the other lower gifts that God says have passed away by now. We have all the knowledge we need and more than we need, we have no need for more prophecy. And certainly there is no need for a tongues language anymore because we can all interpret and learn any language. The preaching is shallow the teaching is shallow and the sheep are shallow. Start preaching deeper stuff

Amen…our good works should be motivated our love for God. Otherwise, it isn’t good.
It is idolatry—loving something else more than God. We are and gain nothing ultimately

If we Love Jesus..we will defend Him. This man does Not teach Jesus. He teaches Paul and himself as god.
