[Civil Procedure] Post-judgment remedies, Part 2 under Philippine Civil Procedure (Video19)

This video discusses the different post-judgment remedies available to parties in civil actions. These are motion for reconsideration, motion for new trial, appeal by notice of appeal, petition for review, appeal by certiorari also known as petition for review on certiorari, petition. for relief, action to annul judgment and petition for certiorari(under Rule 64).

The remedies of motion for reconsideration and motion for new trial are discussed more extensively in Part 1 of my video on Post-judgment remedies.

Wow this is so educational po atty. Thank you so much for your generous and unselfish share of these knowledge via YT platform. I am going through a court order of demolition case as of now with the decision that’s been made back year 2020 po. Is it too late already or still contestable for post judgment ? About overlapse po ng bahay na tinayo ng biyenan ko po na claim ng kapitbahay namin as complainant. To make the long story short po, wala naman po sya land title kasi I believe na ung land property po namin is public property or in other words ancestral po sya. Merun na po Kami waiver rights. Kaso po sabi Nya nauna daw sya mag apply ng application sa DENR CENRO Kaya feeling po sya May authority with her attorney sa Amin at pinag babayad Kami 300K or else demolition will happen sa bahay ng mga anak ko sa Baguio.

Prof Chato, in your note, it says reglementary period for Certiorari under Rule 65 is within 30 days. Is it not 60?
