I've been watching a ton of painting videos, and this series stands out as one of the most comprehensive. So many videos gloss over the little things like dry times, sandpaper grits, mix ratios for primer, outside temperatures, etc. I'm finding out that when it comes to things like paint, talking a lot about every little process is important.

I'm just trying to repair the clearcoat on my car, but it's good to see what a super high level paint process looks like.

Hi Mike, I have been re-watching all of your videos as of late. I am getting close to working on the inside of the car and on the bottom. For the inside if your 911 did you only use POR-15? Or did you put something else on top of it? Also, what treatment did you do for your dash? Did you POR-15 the dash and then apply a paint on top of it? I want to get the satin black look on my dash. Thanks for your help. Great video as usual. Also, a cool video would be a tour of your shop and booth. As you are very organized it will help give the rest of us ideas on how to work in a space similar to yours. Happy New Year!

Love the way you go about things systematically. I am researching my project and it is invaluable help. Anyway, I live in Sweden and the winters here are pretty unforgiving. I wonder at which point in your "bodywork scheme" I could put the car away for the winter period ? Any special precautions you recommend ?
