ArcGIS Integration with iFormBuilder

Inspection of Assets in the field is easier than ever with iFormBuilder and Esri Mobile Applications' newest integration. This video shows a common use case of incorporating Mapping functionality into the iFormBuilder Application.

1. A Parent Layer to hold all the Assets and a Sublayer to hold all Inspections about Assets.

2. Open an ArcGIS Mobile Application and view your Assets on the Map. Each asset is labeled by an Asset ID.

2. Tap on the Asset on the Map, and an iForm form will be opened up, with the Asset ID passed into a Form Field.

3. Use iFormBuilder's Advanced Forms Features such as Javascript, Calculations, Skip Logic, and Subform (Related Tables) to capture data on that specific Asset Inspection.

4. Synchronize Data from iFormBuilder and the inspection layer is updated with the new inspection for that Asset.
