ABOUT EMPIRE:
A unique family drama set in the world of a hip-hop empire. It centers on Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard), a charismatic, savvy music superstar who is about to take his company, Empire Entertainment, public. Raised on the streets, he has never backed away from a fight and will resort to any measures, fair or foul, to defend his beloved Empire.

His life begins to cave in around him after his past sins come back to haunt him following his diagnosis. There's a moment when Bo's wife said, "I don't want to get in between anything." I felt like she had an inkling that he was an asshole.
I was hoping Tiana would be pound cake's daughter but I love Rhyon Brown and she can sing so maybe we'll get a song!
I think Jamal was hooded at first because he wanted ppl to judge the song without bias.
I felt like Tiana was Rihanna in like the Good Girl Gone Bad/ Rated R time and was creeping up on current Rihanna... Maybe she's trying to just get to the point where she's the biggest out like Rihanna or Bey.

I'm loving seeing this more serious side of Hakeem. He's a producer, mentor, rapper, father and he's on his work grind right now.
I don't get why the writers on both Empire and Star cannot just let one couple be happy and last for a whole season at least. Takeem and baby Bella was so positive, can they just leave this couple alone and create drama outside the relationship.

I need Tianna to reveal that Eddie told her to stop messing with Hakeem. I know she kind of said it in this episode when she said he told her to focus and get serious about her career.
I just don't like this Tianna, being mean and rude to everyone.

I thought there was going to be a deeper conversation between Andre and his father, it's the way they advertised the show last week.

The dynamics of this show has changed much. When I first started watching this it was like a comfortable pair of slippers and a cup of cocoa and now it's like a pair of new leather shoes that you have to break in and high tea... it's still good... but really the thing is that I had already subscribed and many commentators dropped off. Even the primary commentator changed from commentating like how you talk to family to how you speak in front of "company". It would not be so bad if she could make them come to her way and not the other way around....Love Cookie's closet though.

I think Cookie's ex prison 'friends' are going to bring trouble into her life. Now China is seeing how Cookie is living, I feel like something negative is coming round the corner.
If she finds Poundcakes daughter, I don't see a positive outcome. Cookie needs to leave that prison life behind.

I'm glad Cookie told the CO's wife what he did.
