This seems like advice that doesn't seem like a lot immediately, but will help you save a lot of time and effort in the long run. Thanks.

One of the most overlooked, least talked abt. and still, especially when working in the box only, most important tips i‘ve ever heard here. Life‘s so much easier, when you organise and select your sounds carefully. That plastic snare you clicked 4000 times over the last years won‘t suddenly turn into gold, get rid of the trash and the sounds that don‘t fit you… getting frustrated while clicking through samples makes you desperate and you will choose the first thing that sounds decent

The little bit of time I've recently spent learning key commands has really made me realize that it's not so much working on the computer that is uninspiring, but the kludgy workflow that is using a mouse or track pad to try and make music. I now honestly think that's what holds people back the most from being productive using a daw.

I just started doing this and it has been hugely helpful. Don’t just do this for samples, do it for your fav vst and effect presets too

This is by FAR my biggest productivity killer. I go through way too many sounds and somewhere along the way I either lose focus or motivation. If you have too much of a thing, you will be paralyzed by choice. Be it samples or plugins. Yes, you can have TOO MANY plugins. How do I know? Oh.. ah... I have read that somewhere.. yeah.. let's go with that...
