BERN, Switzerland 🇨🇭- Evening Tour (2022) - 4K 60fps

We are in Bern, Switzerland's capital. Unlike other bustling capitals, Bern is quiet and unassuming. With a peaceful old town history trumps modernity here.

Our tour in this UNESCO World Heritage Site starts at the main train station. We soon follow streets full of old stone buildings and charming alleys. Bern can sometimes feel too quiet - still it has some sights a medieval tower clock, the warm cellar shops, and sweet treats at local bakeries. We also visit a few viewpoints on this evening.

For over an hour we walk around the old town, cross some bridges and see how relaxed even a capital city can be.

Although I've seen virtual tours of Bern before, thanks to this video, I fell in love with Bern. I don't know how they did it, but there are extremely few cars in the city, at least in the center. I really like that. Thank you.

Yesterday I learned that because Switzerland designates its capital city by law, but uses a different word to the word Germany uses, some Swiss believe that Switzerland uniquely has no capital city, apparently unaware that UK, France, NZ, etc have no law designating a capital city at all.
