I didn’t see any comments with an answer to your about Eccolo, it translates to “He’s here”. The title “Lo Scrittore” means “Writer”. It’s such a cute book, I too, love the drawings! The Migranti has beautiful drawings, the dark background does make the color and characters standout. It is a sad tale and doesn’t need words it can be understood all over the world.😢

Wow so many treasures!!! Well spent money! The inks are beautiful and the books are such a treat! I particularly love "Il scrittore" and Francois Truffaut. He was one of the greatest film director in France and he was also an actor. I imagine that this book is about his life. Thank you for sharing yr new discovery and enjoy yr reading.<3

The Herbin Vert Empire ink is really nice and the Ferris Wheel Marmalade is prettier than I was expecting. I am glad you were ble to go to Bologna and have such a good experience. Have you seen the books about Mademoiselle Oiseau by Andrea de La Barre de Nanteuil? They are originally written in Swedish (despite the French sounding names), but are translated to Swedish, the stories are beautiful, but the illustrations by Lovisa Burfitt are what makes the books magical!

I love Ferris Wheel Press and they are from my hometown of Toronto! I just think the Moss Park green is beautiful and it is named after a park near my neighbourhood like many of the colours (Main Street Marmalade may be named after the street from my old neigbhourhood). I haven't been able to justify the pen to myself. I stick with my Kaweco.

What a great collection of books! Thanks for sharing with us. Since you mentioned Muji at the start, just wanted to let you know that we do have them in the UK, but only in big cities. I know for sure there are a few branches in London, but you can also order online from them. Looking forward to seeing your further fountain pen ink explorations!

I love books and inks equally! Loving that Ferris Wheel fountain pen, I am slowly building my collection of pens and inks and am always so excited to see other artists' collections and finds. I really want to get my hands on some of the Troublemaker inks, they look so wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
