The idea seems interesting but I think the hurdle the developers are having with the coin is a psychological one. Because they tout the coin as a “cash back for purchases” coin that automatically puts consumers in the mind frame that that’s all the coin is good for: to cash it out for fiat and nothing more. Perhaps if they rebranded it to say something more like “get crypto for purchases” and eliminate any “cash back” wording then they won’t automatically put the idea on people’s heads. Also I use the app and it doesn’t really put up front and center the qualities of the crypto whereas other coins do. So consumers don’t understand what its inherent value is and are less likely to hold onto it. Also the staking percentage and compounding frequency could be better for a coin that’s starting out and is trying to build a loyalty base. But hey free money does stuff I’m going to buy anyways is a kickass incentive.

Social Good really needs to work on their marketing. I've tried to spread this around after cashing out like $2500, but people still think its a scam. It's such a bizarre platform. Such low market cap and trading volume, but has been around for a couple years. Has such a great deal but almost nobody knows about it, or they know and don't believe it can work. I mean they only have 2300 followers on twitter. The app even works really well. I've never had a glitch or slow down, but it's just not designed or branded very well. They need to hire a designer.
The price moves unusually as well. Not quite like any other crypto I know of. At times it seems un-tethered to the rest of the market. I'm thinking its a byproduct of ebay releasing lots of peoples coins all at once. You get total sideways action while everyone is waiting for them to cleared and then a sharp dump when they're approved. But then you seem to get equally sharp pumps back up. Maybe related to the auto-buy back mechanism?

Tried it, but this coin has very dumb bonus structures, terrible communication and pathetic withdrawal processes. Got several thousands SG token from pure shopping rewards, but can only withdraw 500 and they dont allow you to withdraw more.
