The Catalpa Tree

Yeah, back home in se Utah, a neighbor had a beautiful young tree, excellent shade for his trailer(the livingroom and kitchen)as well as for his boardwalk up to the front door, so getting a seed pod, sprinkling the seeds on the ground we let one young sapling grow('68) and grow it did as of '82 it had done reached the roof of our apartment which is about 12 ft. tall. I can bet that Baby Catalpa is doing beautifully well!

What a classy video to honor the catalpa tree. I love mine. In 4 years it has topped the roof of my house. The flowers are amazing and the "cigars" or "Indian beans" attract visitors frequently.

Wow, what a sweet and beautiful video! I have a fully grown Catalpa in my front yard...it's a gorgeous unique tree. You will love it. I'm looking to plant another one in the back which is how I found this! Thanks for sharing

My daughter has one growing from seed in her yard from her neighbors tree. We are planting a hundred seeds this weekend. They grow
