Welcome, I’m Rick (IllinoisGhost)

Hello Treasure Hunter
I am announcing my plans to do a full product review of the
AKS Long Range Metal Detectors, I plan on ordering on of these within the next two week and create a video that will give US Treasure Hunters a final answer to the question "DO THEY REALLY WORK"
I plan to thoroughly test these item to find out if they preform as described, many say they are a scam and others say they work.

As you may know I am a avid searcher for the Forrest Fenn Treasure.
( The Thrill of the Chase ) You may not have heard of Forrest Fenn's treasure before... but somewhere in the Rocky Mountains Forrest Fenn has hidden a chest containing around $2 million in gold, jewels, and artifacts.

Thank you so much for watching, and of course don't forget to subscribe!

★ Can I support you?

★ Are you a full time Youtuber?
No, I use Youtube and of course blogging, to connect with others that love to do the same things I do. I’m a full-time treasure hunter, which means I search for lost/hidden treasures that I believe are possible to be found.

I love receiving gifts and postcards, if you like to send anything, my address is below

Same concept as the ll bars which I made myself, for .50cents, they work better than a simplex which I use as a pinpointer, this no happy, but if you want to spend money for an equinox it’s ok, I wouldn’t, hope it helps….. great day.

Here is my 2cents. It may work, but not the way metal detectors do. I have been researching this particular topic and RF technology for a few months now, I did not know someone was actually building and selling this type of equipment yet. My limited understanding and what it appears to be trying to do is generate a 5.6- 6KHZ signal and listen for the signal to be bounced back from the metal object. This is very similar to the technology used in RFID scanning devices used in stores to detect people removing items without paying for them. The signal is sent out then depending on the size of the object and its composition it will reflect the signal at a slightly different frequency. In theory it could be effective. In practice, not so much. The problem is ground penetration. A low frequency, such as the one they are using, has the potential to penetrate ground fairly well. The problem is the transmitting antenna. An antenna that short to transmit a 5.6- 6KHZ signal is going to be very inefficient and require lots of power and even then my not transmit much of a signal. As an example, a car antenna which is about 2-3ft long is about 1% efficient in the AM band range, which starts at 148.5 khz. The lower the frequency the longer the antenna needs to be in order to be efficient. Perhaps a RF engineer could comment on how long an antenna to transmit at 6 khz should be.

Hey brother how was your review did you purchase your aks device?

I did some research on these awhile back, albeit minimal, and came to the conclusion that they were a scam. I was looking at the really expensive ones, but I can't imagine the cheap ones would be any better. Interested to see what you figure out about them.

I noticed something interesting a few years ago at home. These things apparently revolve freely under their own power, ie. they're not slowed/stopped by gravity when they're above gold. I made some dowsing rods out of coathanger wire, bent to L Shape and I used plastic biro pen barrels as handles. When holding one of them out to the side, above a place where an unusual event had occurred which left me thinking there was a live animal under my floorboards(!?), my dowsing rod constantly rotated 360 deg, which should be impossible. If you've watched gold prospecting videos pay close attantion to what's in their pan and also to photos of gravel and you'll see how the stones of gravels form into little circles all by themself. They also align themselves light v dark sides. These effects are at the heart of why these electromagnetic sensors work IF USED CORRECTLY. They will also, like dowsing rods, work better for some people than others so an empirical Yes or No conclusion to Research is utterly invalid. Bear this in mind if you get to Testing one or more models..

Yes its true. Some YouTube video shows it doesn't work. I wanting to buy the aks metal detector.. depth 30 metre. But now no . because they say it doesn't detect long range

Totally off topic IG.I am listening to Friday evenings AGK episode. I heard your text message question and I think Toby answered it wrong. I think what you were really asking is since Fenn went ALONE in to his spot and he tells us NOT TO GO ALONE INTO THE I think that was what you were trying to imply. Great observation.

It's an expensive dowsing rod, and about as effective. The top section spins free on a bearing and you whirl it around - it supposedly points to the treasure. All of the demos I can find for these involve someone demonstrating how to find something they just placed there. Ideomotor effect. Garbage.

Simple Dowsing rod is better but its not easy fast skill to acquire. Best thing to do to test if you can really ly locate prescious object with that technology is to let someone bury gold object in an open field without your knowledge where and let you locate it using with that locator and if you will then you you got the best skill not the instrument.

Nooo!! Bro, I could've told you about LRL's. I hope you don't buy one. Even if they did work.. surely a $200 one wouldn't. They're a SCAM. Usually they sell for a few thousand dollars. I would think twice bro. You'd be better off dowsing.

A lot of them are copied from China . I don't know why Amazon and Wal-Mart are selling them .
