I haved a crawl space with limited clearance. I noticed that on the second recommendation the filter was inverted . Does it have to be set up this way?

I installed the Aquasana Rhino whole house and salt free softener. Three years down the road my house pressure dropped to half and chlorine gets thru like hot knife thru butter. I don't know about other contaminants. We are on city water so it should not be that hard for filters to be clogged up this soon. I called support in Aquasana and all I heard from them that I have to change my pre and post filter more often. One can get broke with all filters to be changed more often. I do not recommend Aquasana.

springwell micron filter is $40 every 6 to 8 months, they won't tell me why it's after the unit and not before which would make more sense to catch city water crap, so there's another filter. talking to the guy via instant chat he could not tell me if i could run the system without a filter (I did not know that it was a separate unit) he said his engineers would get back to me, they never did
