I'm a motovlogger from Phoenix, Arizona! I've been riding motorcycles since 2015. My first motorcycle I learned how to ride on was a Suzuki GS500F. After taking a motorcycle safety course and finally gaining some confidence on the streets, I decided to purchase my second motorcycle. A Honda CBR600RR. I still own that motorcycle to this day! After some time passed I decided to add another motorcycle to the family. So I purchased a Yamaha FZ-07. That's another bike I still have to this day! Again, more time passed and guess what I did. I purchased my final bike, as of now. A Honda Grom!

▶ What's a motovlog?
A motovlog is a type of video log recorded by a person while riding a motorcycle or any motorized vehicle. The word is a neologism and portmanteau derived from "motorcycle", "video" and "log". A rider who creates video blogs known as a motorcycle blogger, and the action of making motovlogs is called motovlogging.

Take that as a stern warning, you do t get many cops as helpful as that. Fit your plate, display your L plate and ride sensibly. You may get pulled again because they’d be a marker put in your vehicle but if you’re sensible and respectful of other road users you’d have nothing to worry about and you’d get to keep your bike.

You get a chance to straighten up and get smart. You’re respected enough to get a chance to be an adult. Then if you’re caught again, and show you haven’t learnt a thing, you can kiss the bike goodbye.

Pretty typical interaction. All interactions I’ve had with police as a biker, have been fair. Even when I was banned for a few months. The key is to be respectful and honest. At least three times I could have ended up in prison, but my honesty and demeanour were crucial when it went to court and the copper said I was honest and respectful. On one occasion many years ago, where I more than trebled the speed limit, his testimony that the roads were empty, it was the hottest day of the year and conditions were excellent, probably saved me from a custodial sentence.

Don’t do the crime, if you can’t handle getting caught.
