After watching SUCCESS CHASERS and the like for so many years, it’s good to see the man himself putting out motivational super cuts. And it’s exactly what I was looking for today, when this popped into my feed.

"As useless as I am at least I could move that from there to there." Wow. That's rather profound when you think on it. I need to start working on that.

There is no doubt in my mind that you, Jordan Peterson, are the greatest thinker of our generation. I thank you for all that you are doing as you are bearing the weight of the suffering for a lot of us.

I don’t think I could’ve been one of his students. I’d be bawling the whole time as he’s being the dad I had and need again😭🤣

We need a transcript for people who do not speak english fluently. It is very good advice and wisdom and it transcends all frontiers.

This reminds me of a Marcus Aurelius quote, " the obstacle is the way."

True. Life is hard, that's why we need a path worth aiming at.

When did suffering become such a bad thing? How else do we grow? There is a lot of power in overcoming habits and challenges. I appreciate how clearly Peterson delineates life.

Facing suffering is key but the real fruits of healing is when your story of redemption helps inspire someone else to heal from their own. Suffering is a tricky subject because some is self induced and some from our egos reactions to our environment. Reduce the ego to a small child instead of a dictator. Look at your ego from the spirit mind and see clearly the destructive patterns of self that must be shed for for the process of God’s redemption to manifest in that persons life.

Deep down we don't want to admit that suffering is part of life, that's why pointing it out and saying it at loud needs bravery.

Accepting that life is suffering is a Buddhist principle. The way you deal with that suffering is basically by being disciplined and living a good life. It’s interesting to see different philosophies in his teaching.

On the internet yesterday, while searching for something else, I came across an article by a couple of European academics critical of Jordan Peterson. If I hadn't been intelligent enough to see through it, it could have pulled the wool over my eyes, because qualified educated academics who are articulate are also capable of seriously influencing thought processes. But the truth of the matter is that if somebody articulate decides they just don't like somebody, or they support something demonstrably nuts like communism, they can comes up with endless impressive long words and references to justify their fundamentally emotional position, even in the face of evidence. (Like a theologian.) But it remains a rationalisation for emotion, not genuine intelligence or the irresistible march of a bit of common sense. And those writers just didn't like Jordan or what he means or represents. So the whole focus of their long attack had to be on his "style" and his "image" and his "presentation", because they could not risk engaging properly with his meaning or his content. And this three-minute clip, all by itself, annihilates their position and just makes me feel even more sorry for their poor indoctrinated brains.
