Hudson Records Listening Club - The Lost Words Spell Songs

This week we have The Lost Words Spell Songs, inspired by and paired with the book ‘The Lost Words’ by Robert Macfarlane & Jackie Morris. The album was put together by Adam & Caroline Slough and Neil Pearson from Folk by the Oak and features Karine Polwart, Rachel Newton, Julie Fowlis, Beth Porter, Kerry Andrew, Jim Molyneux, Kris Drever and Seckou Keita with photography by Elly Lucas and it was produced and record at Rockfield studios by Andy Bell.

Welcome to the Hudson Records Listening Club, the idea is to listen to an album in its entirety with commentary and insight into the writing, arranging, recording and life of the music from the artists themselves.
