Morro was the perfect villain: an active threat, stone-cold evil but someone you felt sorry for, and a kid haunted by broken dreams and hatred for the person he trusted most. He’s smart, powerful, skilled, and heartless. Yet the conclusion to his character in Day of The Departed was perfect, showing how he really did come to terms with Wu after Possession.

As long as I can remember, Morro always has been one of my favourite character from Ninjago, I decided to rewatch the show some week ago and I remember being impatient to get to the season possession as it was my favourite as a kid, Morro possessing Lloyd was such a great idea from the writer, for once the ninja didn't had their power, Nya learning how to use her water power, not linked to Lloyd's power like the other.
Morro stealing Lloyd body is (I think) a perfect idea : he stole what was taken away from him : being the green ninja

He reminds me of Tai Lung. They wear both wronged for their destiny that they didn’t want at first and also whose masters filled their heads with dreams.

As much as people hate day of the departed, it furthered Morro’s character arc. Morro technically redeemed himself when he handed the realm crystal to Wu, giving up his life to do it, but in day of the departed, the other ninja wouldn’t have known about Yangs plan and they would have forgotten Cole if it wasn’t for Morro’. I hope we see Morro again eventually, not as a villain but as an ally. Maybe he could train Euphrasia

so the reason why morro became evil broken was all because of the preeminent, this reminds me of the time that the overlord forced harumi to serve him and built a vengestone army, but yeah morro is a very good villian, good video man

These are all facts it is also the reason Morro doesn’t need to return he had such a great backstory and plan if he returned for so dumb redemption arc it would ruin all of what he did in season 5 also he already came to piece with his destiny
