Nikita Koshkin's iconic 'Usher Waltz' performed by Marion Schaap.

Inspired by the Edgar Allan Poe story The Fall of the House of Usher, in which Poe wrote "I listened, as if in a dream, to the wild improvisations of his speaking guitar."

The Guitar Canon is an initiative of De Gitaarsalon (Netherlands) and Brava TV.

Filmed and produced by Reijger Recordings.

Marion's guitar was built by Paul Sheridan (2012)

A great piece - one that is particularly successful at 'telling the story'. Very well played and the camera work was excellent too.
