Lympia Dam from the sky - Φράγμα Λυμπιών 4/1/2020 - Cyprus

Ένα σχετικά μεγάλο φράγμα έχει δημιουργηθεί 22 χιλιόμετρα περίπου νοτιανατολικά της Λευκωσίας, στην κοινότητα των Λυμπιών. Βρίσκεται κτισμένος επάνω σε παραπόταμο του ποταμού Τρέμιθου με σκοπό την άρδευση έκτασης γης 51 εκταρίων , η οποία καλλιεργείται κατεξοχήν με λαχανικά. Το φράγμα κτίστηκε το 1977 στη θέση ενός μικρότερου λιθόκτιστου φράγματος και έχει χωρητικότητα 220.000 μ3.
