I just got one of these today, the Deluxe model with the Velvet Brick pickups. I traded a mint 2000 Fender P-Bass for it and it was one of the best trades I've made. That guitar plays like butter, it's insane. And the pickups...just blew me away. The guitar was refinished in Candy Electric Blue and the original headstock logo was replaced with the standard Gibson logo + pineapple. Big improvement, the original logo looked goofy to me. Anyhow I love that guitar and won't be letting it go any time soon, I've had it for one day and already recorded with it.

One of the many experiments of the Norlin era. A lot of people hate them, I actually like them better than the more classic designs. Very cool if you want a vintage Gibson at a reasonable price

My dad gave me a sonic 180 when i was a little fella ans it got stole in a robbery but i am a fan of the little guitars they were so versatile thanks for sharing

yeah, , , , i love this sonex, i also have a gibson les paul deluxe{70} wish it was a 69 or 68, , because it is a pancake still 42 yr old aged piece with a abr-1 directly mounted to a gem in the tone dept, , imo
