These chord progressions are so crazy that my brain is inventing new emotions from listening.

He's run out of musical instruments to learn, now watch him master the entire Adobe creative suite.

It’s not just the crazy chords and crazy talent. It’s how much he LOVES this song and how much he loves his friends. Feels pure.

While musical tastes might differ, I hope everyone can feel the pure unbridled joy coming from Jacob and the rest of the people involved here. This is a song that praises the joy of being alive in a way more genuine and innocent than any song I can think of at the moment. It deserves to be played in church.

As a brazilian, this is the most natural sounding representation of samba made by a foreigner I've ever seen.

You know Jacob is a true musician when he lists every single instrument and performer on the credits. You're a great man, mr Collier.

Every time I watch this video (and it's a lot), I smile all the way through. His music just lifts my spirit. You can see how he's just loving it. What a joy! ❤

Showed this to my father, he's an old man, a musician and I never seen him smiled like that again (to something related to music) in these covid times. I honestly wanted to cry while playing this to him. It's one of the precious moments I needed. I just want to thank you and your music. You're the best!

i love how jacob emphasizes the fun in music & the way it brings people together, regardless of common perception of what type of musician or sound is "proper" for what genre. the clips of the chorus just jamming while singing brings such a smile to my face. can never get through a song or video without feeling the most wholesome sense of love for music. :)

Jacob,
I am a musician, keyboardist, pianist and music producer with visual impairment here in Brazil. I came to your channel on the recommendation of my music teacher, who spoke very well of you.
What spectacular ideas of arrangement, my friend!
What a beautiful thing.
You’re literally a genius.
He managed to make a sensational arrangement at the height of the song.
You are living proof of how it is possible to be creative and listen to songs like this (known) in a different and fun way.
I vibrated a lot at the moment the solo of metals, piano and bass appears. It gave me a pleasant feeling of joy, happiness, ecstasy....
Very good indeed, fantastic!
And those "take 6" voices? Just great.

I’m still looking for decent samples of voices like that for my keyboard.
Who knows, all of a sudden, we’re partnering to create a realistic take 6 sample with expressive joints like vibratos, etc.

Already imagining the next arrangement for the song "Cidade Maravilhosa" (anthem of the city of Rio de Janeiro) in Jazz... :)

All the success in the world for you. I’ve become your fan!
