Jhn 20:7 - And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.
I have read that it's a tradition in Jewish customs, that when one leaves the table just for awhile, but they are going to return and finish, they fold their napkin and lay it to one side.
It means, "I'm not finished". So, was that also a message from Jesus, and that's why it was inscribed in John's Gospel?

I would just like to share my opinion, having proof of our Lord Jesus (no matter how significant) will never be totally accepted by the unbelievers. This will never be permitted! However, as believers, we rejoice and praise our Savior whenever something is discovered that proves Jesus's existence. This presentation is so encouraging to keep looking up! God Bless

What made John believe is that the linen napkin was folded which indicates ( according to Jewish tradition ) that Jesus would be returning, In the common Jewish tradition the Father or head of the household would leave the napkin folded as he got up from the dinner table if he was not finished but planned on returning to sit at the table, if he was finished he would just leave the napkin unfolded so the rest of the family would know he was finished dining and would not be returning .

I’ve been to Israel 3 x and I’ve been to both sites and there is such a spiritual darkness and heaviness at the church of the sepulcher. I don’t know who is buried there, but there’s no way our Lord’s body was ever in that dark place. But in the garden tomb, there is a peace and a presence so strong that it’s palpable and from there you can look behind it and easily see the entire rock face, which looks exactly like a skull! And the garden tomb site also has evidence that it was indeed a vineyard with a very large ancient grape press. I’m also going by the evidence that Ron Wyatt found in the area of the garden tomb that validates exactly where Yeshua died.

In the book the shroud by Ian Wilson, he gives an incredible account of he historical evidence going back to the 1st century for the shroud. The image of Edessa in Orthodox Christianity was the Shroud.
