I’m old enough to remember buying the OG Xbox console and 360 in stores. I just bought a series S yesterday and it’s a perfect upgrade for someone who’s not a hardcore gamer like me. Loving it so far 👌🏻

The fact you can get one right now for $240 is a game changer

I bought it and im addicted to it, small, beautiful, powerful, digital, affordable, never heats, never makes noises, gamepass wins, it's the perfect next generation. I cant stop using it.

The Series S is one of my favorite pieces of Tech I have ever bought. I love the amount of value I get outta this console for its small size, it’s affordable price tag, how easy it is to emulate retro games, and it’s high convenience factor.

The fact that you can’t build a pc for the same price as the series s and get similar performance is revolutionary.

Xbox and PS5 are both killing it in very different ways this gen. Gamepass is a great deal to try a lot of games, but I'll say I haven't encountered many 9 or 10/10 games on the service - mostly 5/10-8/10s. I love the quick resume feature and the microsoft rewards give me a lot of free money towards games.

It's honestly tied with the PS2 for the greatest console ever made imo, it gave people who don't have alot of money a chance to try next gen at launch. Definitely a 10/10

I have both. I bought the Series X over a year ago and bought the PS5 about 6 months ago. Once a bought the I didn't touch my Xbox Series X for about 3 weeks straight. Played and finished Spider-Man and the pack in game (Astros playroom). Started playing Ghost of Tsushima. But found myself starting to go back to Xbox and game pass. I now play both.... but I play Xbox mostly.

To be after playing I have yet to find a game as immersive. And every new game I try.... I immediately compare it to RDR2. It's almost like a default comparison that I can't turn off. And I have yet to find a game that could captivate me like RDR2 has. It kind of feels like living a 2nd fantasy life in the wild west lol. The bar was simply set too high with RDR2 where I can't seem to get invested into any other open world game because it just isn't on it's level. I've tried The Witcher 3, AC Valhalla, Ghost of Tsushima, Elden Ring, Skyrim, and more. The only open world game that can come a little close is Breath of the Wild... but the Switch hasn't been touched in over a year.

Anyway.... both the Xbox series x and PS5 are amazing. I just prefer the Xbox because of gamepass. It allows me to try so many games in my search to find something that can captivate me like RDR2 has. Also... the controller feels better in my opinion.

You can't go wrong with either

I have both consoles PS5 and the Xbox Series X. While I enjoy my series x the PS5 is killing them right now when it comes to games. Actually it’s no competition. I really hope Microsoft gives us some great quality AAA titles in 2023.

Always appreciate your videos brother. I too am fortunate to have all the consoles. I also agree that even in 2022: the cost to value ratio of the series S is STILL unbeatable. Keep up the great vids

The Series S is a good console, but the first question that really needs to be answered when approaching what to buy is do you own a 4K TV or plan to get one in the next 3-6 months? If the answer is yes, then you should likely bypass the Series S.

1) The full value of a 4K TV is experienced when you have a service or product that's capable of such a high resolution. Currently, that's only done through a service (Netflix, Hulu, HBO, etc.) or device (UHD player, gaming console, fire stick, etc.). This scenario is not applicable to those who own gaming monitors however.

3) SSD is 512gb, but really the memory is 300 something gb outside of the operating system. Investing in external storage is a must. I don't want to spend time downloading, deleting, redownloading, or swapping games back and forth between storages. It also takes away the convenience of downloading now and playing later.

Nevertheless, it's still budget friendly. Just keep in mind the cost of it down the road.

So ive been having playstation my whole life and decided to get it since it was on sale for $250 while getting $50 back. but i got it because it was taking to long for a ps5. but its super smooth and has great display rates and speed loading games. So far a 7/10

That was a great video and perspective on the Xbox Series S, instead of focusing on power or graphics or games, you focused on value and benefit for the consumer, which fits perfectly with the time that we are in.

I have a Series S and PS5 Digital and play them both equally. I love having Gamepass and PS Plus Premium, because I hardly ever have to buy games outright, and can almost always find something new to play! It's a tie to me!

I really don't understand all the comments on ps5. I agree that it has better exclusives playstation always has but the ps5 does not. It literally has 2 games that are exclusive everything else is still on ps4. I have a ps5 series x and a series s and I feel like the ps5 was the biggest waste of money. I have always been a playstation guy but I love all consoles. Right now xbox is where it's at gamepass is amazing. If we wanna argue about exclusives the switch is probably the only console still releasing good exclusives. Playstation is doing nothing for me. Bunch of cut and paste games full of cutscenes. God of war looks decent but it's nothing new. Innovation is no longer with us in gaming . Gaming has went downhill. That's why I think xbox is where it is at. There is alot of good games on gamepass. Microsoft might not be making exclusives but they are killing it for a third party machine. I like my ps5 too but quit with the exclusives. Until they release actual new games.

He is right about portability I had the S and sold when I finally got the X and miss being able to take it anywhere I actually wish I kept the S and bought the expansion card instead not a huge difference IMO
