I'm a vegan and i can confidently tell you, one cow is NOT equal to 200 steaks. A huge portion of the corpse is essentially not consumed by humans because they're considered "gross".

So many people do seem to believe animals somehow spring into existence by living on rainfall, air, and weeds that only grow on non-arable land. I’ve been involved in enough livestock raising and hay/alfalfa baling to know the feed crops require the best land just like all the other crops.

Ah yes, the endless killing of animals taking nuts from a tree. And of course, bees must be used to pollinate almond trees; nothing to do with the location, compared to European almonds that instead rely on wind and native pollinators

Ask any knowledgeable biologist and they will tell you that any given amount of land will support a lot more herbivorous animals then carnivores who prey on them

Remove the almond milk from the equation. Put the bees, insects, and plants before the cow. Add thousands of gallons of water and you'll get the steaks. These people don't think 😂

What they're right about is in a dire situation it's less cruel to take down one large animal that'll feed you for days instead of many smaller ones. So sad that wasn't the main point of the original pic

I think crop deaths cause an unimaginable amount of suffering and I can't wait for the world to start giving consideration to animals so we can start finding ways to make them less prevalent. However, what always gets me skeptical about the "a thousand times more deaths" point is : if you really believe that plants are this unethical, do you get angry at anyone who's not a full grass-fed beef carnivore ? The person making this post probably eats bread, herbs, spices, fries, stuff like that. If they REALLY believe that it causes a thousand times more death and suffering, why do they still consume it ? It rings as weird as if people chanting "it's not food, it's violence" in steakhouses were carnists who had zero problems with eating steaks.
This inconsistency from the "corp deaths" team shows you that it's either something they don't believe in, or that it's just a dodge and that they don't actually care about animals at all.
