That choker works pretty slick, much lighter than the log chain I end up using to move wood around. I can see it as a handy tool to use with the mini excavator to pull select logs out of the pile. hi there .nice thing about the snow, no mud in the bark, " a little bit more" no comment . one thing keep in mind tractors are designed to pull from the other end, might come into play on bigger loads, take care and be cool . john

Good for you shifty, you are ahead of most of the pack back east w/wire rope choker. Do you have a strap you could thread a pulley to & wrap around a tree or stump w/clevis. then tree your are felling will fall at a right angle away from you, like you did w/tony tools. You wont need a tree pusher with your tractor and long lengths of wire rope & stout pulley, strong 6-10, 'strap & wife tugging w/tractor. Run tractor with only just enough power to do job, no more, you dont break stuff that way. You have any questions check with Tony see if he agrees w/me, I am sure he will have some good ideas for you. He might steer you to some wire rope that would work for you.

Do you think 25 hp is enough to plow heavy wet snow? I'm debating on one of these or a larger tractor. The food thing about your tractor you can very easily crank up the hp because it's mechanically injected, no ECM. Just turn up the injection pump screw
