I grew up with a happy Goodman family. Every Sunday morning we would run and turn on the TV before we went to Sunday school. The TV would say.” live from Pensacola, Florida., the happy Goodman family” and they would sing” jubilee”. We had the TV playing real loud while we were getting ready for Sunday school and church. What a way to start your morning.

P.S. It was the days of "big hair"...it was the "thing" that we all did, though not quite like Vestal's...but Vestal is a special lady and she can wear her hair (or wig) just however she wants to, IMHO!!!

We had no idea what nightmares were to come! My husband of 55 years got COVID and our lives have been turned upside down! He's never had sick, but a blood clot, cellulitis twice and pneumonia twice... our happy retirement turned into a nightmare! Twice I had to call EMS! We're both saved but he's 76yo and his family lives into their 80s and 90s!
