This is a terrible attempt at trying to explain calculating distance. It leaves the impression that the person trying to explain the problem doesn't understand it. Far too many important details are ignored or glossed over.

bro why so quick? tried putting this in my graphics calculator, doing everything correctly but it just spits out "theta" = 0

Google map api is doing a more complex calculation than the haversine. It takes into account the path, traffic speed, terrain etc.

how did you convert the degree into radians? like in the video 1.47

It's only a theoretical distance, not a practical one given all the geopolitical factors in which we're facing.
