Someone who played both and loved both, WoWs stayed grounded and the ships are still warships even with the blueprint ships so it just makes sense that they iterated the ships better. Azur Lane deviated from being based on a ship to full on mecha and fantasy and people who doesn't know much about the game will be confused on modern design choices, or people just forgot that Azur Lane is not just "ships but girls" and has it's own story too and a complex one that is.
