Lot of questions on bricking: it's good, I recommend using the AC adapter you get with ur Switch/Switch Lite, that's what determines the voltage and current.

No, the question I ask is, what's the bricking risk. Try using it for few months and let us know. The Switch Lite does not have a video output chip inside and no dock can change that.

I made a custom Dock for mine. I got a large screen enlarger and made a stand out of cardboard so the switch lite stands in the stand behind the screen enlarger I Puck up my wireless controller and walah!!! It's done

*Heads up! These 3rd party docks and chargers can be dangerous to your Switch! Use with caution!*
(TL;DR: Using 3rd party docks/chargers can fry a chip in your switch over time that will make your console unable to power on whatsoever.)

Don't buy these 3rd party Switch docks. The Switch needs specific power supplies and will communicate with the official dock & charger to vary the power input. 3rd party docks & chargers don't know how to decode that. Heavier chance of frying the chip that asks for power input using 3rd party docks. Once that chip is fried, your switch won't start up functionally, as it isn't getting instructions as to how much power it needs.

Please don't buy 3rd party docks or chargers. Sure, they work for a little, but once the switch starts asking for (and expecting) lower power inputs, you can kiss your console bye-bye.

This won’t project your switch lite onto your tv as the lite doesn’t have an external video card.

I see so many people in the comments talking about who will the switch light should have video output the whole point of the switch light was to make strictly a handheld system that's why they made the standard switch yeah you're paying a hundred bucks more but you can do a lot more with it handheld mode tabletop mode and TV mode plus you can replace the joy cons if you ever get a drift in them screen is bigger I get it if you don't have the money and you want to play switch games but if you know it's purely a portable console don't complain about it not being able to be docked because that's why it's cheaper in the first place if they put a video chip in it it wouldn't be cheap anymore then on top of that you would have to buy Joy cons which range from anywhere from 40 to 80 bucks you might be able to get a pair for 40 but right there you done spent 240 plus a controller probably going to arrange you from anywhere 20 to 50 bucks and then the system not being cheap anymore because it has a video output in it now or you having to buy a video out chip and put it in the system yourself that requires time tools and money right there so at the end of the day just take it for what it is a handheld system if you want to standard switch just save up a little bit and if you're okay with buying pre-owned or refurbished Nintendo switches then you could probably find them for a lot cheaper I found both of my standard switches for less than $300 got my Mario edition switch for 240 bucks and I got my Nintendo switch OLED for like 250 just got to look around I mean paying 50 bucks more isn't bad when you consider that you're getting three systems in one versus buying a switch lite for 200 and you're only getting strictly a portable console

Switch lite could use this stuff to charge and play with wired controller, but it can't show any video output to TV. Is that right?
