Android App Development Tutorial Part 2 (First App)

In this video I continue the basic first application from the previous part and talk about how to pass information form one activity to another using intent extras (and key value pairs) and how to create and open additional activities using intents. We also cover some brief layout techniques for styling UI elements created in code behind.

In the next video we are going to start a tutorial on creating an Action Bar for your application.
