Any cardboard based retro game above 80+ is a good grade. Even if you go out to your local store and buy a Switch game and send it off to get graded it will most likely come back an 85/85+. I do have a 95+ Switch game, but that's because I literally pulled it from a case on day 1 and sent it off to get graded.

The funny thing after watching this video, I went over to my drawer where I have some sealed modern games and took a good look at them. What I’ve noticed is that pretty much every game that’s produced in a factory and shipped out to people has some kind of cosmetic problem. So I get it, finding a “perfect” sealed game is not easy. Still think it’s a little silly. Also, Greg knows his a shit.

the problem is that it seem to be a subjective opinion... it should have 3 people that look at every game and grade it each and then land on the average of the 3 - and it should have a text with the box that explains/justify why its graded at 85 for ex and not 90+ or lesser than 85. that way we could have some consensus in the future what is top notch and not.

For whatever reason, Milton Bradley boxes always seem to have slight crease marks on the side so I wonder if it was some kind of factory defect. That Digger T. Rock would be good enough for me. Corner dings and abrasions on shrinkwrap doesn't bother me.

How do you think these particular games here would grade at WATA? Since you have this footage to review and should have a very good understanding of wata grades by now.

Hey Greg! Would love your input on this - let’s say you have a mint box, like no scratches on the seal, and no dings or creases, but there’s like maybe a 1 millimeter-2 millimeter speck of like, I guess ink - like maybe a black dot or yellow dot for some reason. Could it still be at least a 90?

Kind of makes me want to have subbed my GBA to VGA instead of WATA

Damn, so to get a 90 it has to be untouched.
