This is such a lovely thing to watch the honeybees do. There are quite a few theories as to why the honeybees do this:
To help with their wax production
To assist with building/repairing the wax comb
A form of measurement
Everything a honeybee does is for a purpose. They don't waste time or space! So this must definitely have a reason.
