Our principal weekly Holy Eucharist anchors our worship life and prepares us for the week ahead. The Cathedral’s soaring architecture will point your eyes toward heaven as prayers, preaching and music open our hearts to God. Our worship is based on the traditions of The Episcopal Church and features beloved hymns, a hybrid blend of traditional and contemporary music and the best in Cathedral preaching. All who seek a deeper relationship with God in Christ are welcome to receive Communion.

lovely just lovely Right Rev Nathan Baxter music to my soul thank you, I noticed your beautiful fingers which you gently showed and I fell in love with them! thank you God bess you amen I have remembered my early years as I ran in the woods along the Potomac. I am now older than 60. British citizen living in Japan. I have discovered more about the history of the First Nations in the Americas from 1600 to 1840 and wish that we could show our love for the First Nations more visibly in our vestments -- at an advanced love and understanding -- to say that the Great Spirit and the Holy Spirit are in God's love flowing together -- I wish we could invite First Nation women, who have the will and strength, to be priests in our Church, and to reward them specially somehow for their gift, in recognition of the survival and goodness of the First Nations and how we still have a heaven of love to give them in all possible ways -- remembering remembering remembering the suffering etc etc ... Nathan Baxter said: [I love these words] = a great federal church = please can we show the reality of love for the First Nations more boldly and warmly -- remembering how I wished to have protected them with federal strength but failed in that duty -- help me to see how we achieve this idea, of giving from our wealth and love as much as we can -- if possible - with love from paul
