Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to present the Interim Budget 2024-25 on February 1 at a time when India's economy is expected to remain one of the fastest-growing economies in the world. At the same time, rising geopolitical tensions and high inflation have emerged as major challenges and could dampen growth in FY25.

An economic review report released by the government said India is poised to register strong growth in FY25, but also outlined several challenges that Nirmala Stiahraman may address in the upcoming interim budget.
