How Java Works

To work with any software, first you need to create a Source File and then compile it to convert it in the byte code. After that, run the byte code on the JVM and then you can get your object or you can run the code.

What is a Complier?
Compiler:- it is used to convert a source file into the byte code.

Use of Byte Code:
Java is an platform independent language and we require a platform where you can run this software or byte code. This platform is also known as Virtual Machine.

What is JVM?
The virtual machine that works with Java and convert byte code in the object or Java Code is known as JVM (Java Virtual Machine).

How java works from a text book quote
1.Takes the source file.
2.coverts the source file using a Compiler to a Java Byte Code.
3.When you run the complied program its executed by the JVM (Java virtual Machine).
4.The JVM now translates this Java byte code to a Binary code the computer understands.
