Ali did many amazing things and this was one of them. He didn’t visit the man “every day for months” in the hospital. He offered to drive the guy to his home state and that was that. He DID however secretly visit sick people for years and years with zero publicity or fanfare because it was the right thing to do. Getting stories conflated.
