I think it's not a matter of timing or phrasing, just emotions, a lot of emotions that Stephan tried to give us.
And an electric guitar on Beethoven's work sounds weird, like you I prefer the original but this piece is very personal and his feeling make a very nice sample of his good playing.
anyway, it's your right to don't like it and sorry my English I'm french ^^

Not a nice job at all Stephane. Poor timing and phrasing. It doesn't make a nice sample of your good playing, hope you realise that. You're a really good player, keep up - respect from a fan.
