Novak Djokovic’s wife: Unexpected motherhood challenges

Jelena Djokovic, Novak’s wife, lives her life for her spouse’s career, just like many partners of professional athletes. Jelena talks about the struggles of finding balance between honoring herself, mothering her children and supporting her husband. She became so taxed by her responsibilities she left Novak in the middle of Wimbledon to embark on a spiritual journey. She is a lovely young lady, beautiful inside and out. So genuine and human. Very respectful, polite and sweet. There was no pretending or any act. So kind and humble. I will never forget our short, still meaningful (for me) meetings. Wonderful person <3

I swear some people here have no sense of reality. Just because she's wealthy and married to a legend doesn't mean she's immune to mental demons and needing time for herself. The absolute focus Novak needed to go on his crazy run obviously required someone in his corner to hold the fort but at some stage something's got to give and unfortunately that was during Wimbledon.
