I agree with LS that the real issue in this video is that is sound like they will add a total of 5\6 items when they should add 20+.
The game would really benefit from more build diversity.

I personally disliked when she mentioned the gamemodes to bring back and said it wasnt that simple because the modes would have to be adjusted, while they are currently working more on gamemodes that amplify champion fantasies.
Then they proceed to ignore one of the gamemodes that is most requested, wouldnt require new changes AND fulfills a champion fantasy.

As an ex-dota player, item diversity is exactly what I'm missing in league.Every game my builds is the same, only changing the build order. When In DotA you have a 2-3 items for each situation for every role and type of hero.

the AP mythic is designed for battle mage, but in reality, battle mage share similiar items to ap assassin or skirmishers,
which imagine Battlemage going that item, as you said doing no dmg, OR
Diana Ekko, Kass building that item, with Zhongyas.
