I'm hearing riffs that I've never heard before. They should really release instrumental versions of their albums. Have vocal songs but have a separate disc or something of the instrumentals.

Mastodon puts way too much emphasis on vocals nowadays. This song is really special but there’s so much singing you don’t hear all the little awesome nuances in the playing. Their obsession with melody with the vocals is downplaying the music too much. The less is more approach should apply to their vocals instead of the music.
