'A budget for the rich': Mick Lynch comments on chancellor Jeremy Hunt's budget

Mick Lynch was asked to comment on yesterday's budget.

Speaking to Sky News, General Secretary of the RMT Mick Lynch said: 'There's no move from the government to solve these public sector pay disputes. It seems to be a budget for the rich.'

Lynch IS one of the rich! Remember when asked to define ‘rich’, John McDonnell said: “Above £70, 000 to £80, 000 a year.” Well Lynch reportedly got paid £763, 000 in salary and benefits since he joined the union in 2015. That money comes from rank and file members who could give themselves an instant £23 a month payrise just by stopping their union subs... but no, they'll keep paying it in the hope of a penny a week payrise.
